The Good News
When someone
receives good news their state of excitement upon receiving
it causes them to share it with everyone they know. Yet,
when it comes to sharing with others the ultimate good news,
the gospel of Jesus Christ, some of us Christians may tend
to lose confidence with our words or even allow fear and
rejection to set in. Well, if you find yourself in that
situation, you may really want to consider teaming up with
our Evangelism Ministry which is led by Minister Aurthor
Wilson along with his wife Lena. On Saturday mornings from
10:00 a.m.- 12:00 p.m. Minister Wilson and the team of members
are making an impact by boldly proclaiming the gospel of
Jesus Christ throughout the community and the city of Orange
Park. The strengths of unified saints sharing Jesus with
those who are in need of salvation can stir up your faith
and build up boldness on the inside. In Mark 16:15, Jesus
commands the believer to go into all the world and preach
the gospel to every creature which meaning that a church
title or public speaking degree are not required. Only a
desire and compassion for lost and hurting people. Jesus
Himself has ordained us as believers to speak on His behalf
to the lost.
Evangelism Ministry's
base scripture (Romans 10:14-15) challenges us with compelling
questions: How will they call upon Him in whom they have
not believed? How will they believe in whom they have not
heard? How will they hear without a preacher? Sharing Jesus
with as many souls as possible, which is the main goal for
The Evangelism Ministry as well as should be for every believer.
It brings about encouragement, healing and most importantly
salvation for those who need Jesus thus effectively spreading
the "good news."
